Almost Thanksgiving!

I can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving! I know I am looking forward to the break as much as the kids. However, my one issue is the Monday and Tuesday before the Thanksgiving breaks begin. In my experience it seems as if the kids (and some of the teachers) have already started the break and are now just going through the motions because we have to all be at school. This is hard to overcome, and I know next year I will probably be the same way, I just hope not! Any ideas on how to make the day or two before a break as productive as the days after a break??
